HOME>“N” REMOVAL

Upcoming Course: April 2/18, 1 pm.

We offer the Driver Improvement, Canada Safety Council Defensive Driving Course. It does 3 things: it can be used for Point Deduction, Removal of the Graduated Licence “N”, and it meets the mandatory requirements of a letter that the Registry of Motor Vehicles sends out when people get in demerit point trouble. Please call or text 902-877-1281, and if you require an individualized date and time, there’s a good chance we can do that on the day and time that works for you; we have a couple of options for you to consider.

The first is a semi-private session, the second is a one-on-one session. For the semi-private option, we require 2 or more people. They don’t both need to be here for the same reason; in other words, as an example, one person can attend because he or she wants to remove the N, while the other person is needs the course for Point Deduction.

About the Course

The Canada Safety Council Defensive Driving Course is a nationally recognized course. Its scope is very broad, as its underlying them is that of collision avoidance. With this theme, it lends itself to all ages; it does not matter whether someone is 18 years old, and has been driving for only two years and needs to take a course to get rid of the N, or whether someone is 55 and is taking it because of the letter that the Registry of Motor Vehicles sends out when people get in demerit point trouble. The thing they both have in common is that no-one wants to be involved in a collision.

About 40% of collisions happen at busy intersections and so a lot of the course deals with ways to identify problems there; it teaches its “Standard Accident Prevention Formula”. There is a lot of benefit to this course, for young and old alike.
